In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we delivered a school aged program called: Viva Frida! The program focused on Frida Kahlo’s life and artwork. The children were able to make small pieces of art as well.
To make this program even more special, I printed and laminated some selections of Frida’s artwork (SIDE NOTE: It is very hard to find many kid friendly Frida prints! Lots of breasts and blood!). We displayed the prints and discussed their different interpretations of the work.
