These are super fun and super easy bear claws that are made out of paper bags and cut construction paper! Outside of some scissor action, this craft is very simple and straight forward for younger kids, but the older kids like them as well!
Here’s what you need to make each set:
- 2 brown paper bags
- Black construction paper
- Scotch tape
- Stick or Elmer’s glue
I used a bear claw clip-art picture as a reference, then I cut two roundish circles for the claw’s pads and ten “candle flame” shapes to use as the claws. For the craft, I had the children fold down the top two corners of the closed side of the bags and tape them down. Next, they can glue the “pads”on the top middle of the folded bags. Finally, they glue the claws onto the top!
After the glue dries, the kids can put the bags on over their hands and pretend to be bears!
