Wall Display for Black History Month

Here is a wall display that I created to help celebrate Black History Month at our Bradham & Brooks branch. This was one of the first displays that I created for the branch. I purposefully put this display along the wall facing our youth picture books. I did this because many readers may not go over into the non-fiction or biography sections, in turn, missing out on important historical information.

From this vantage, children can see the display and read the blurbs about each of the historical figures. Hopefully, this piques their interest into wanting to learn more about black historical figures and encourage them to explore the non-fiction section!
